"Hi! My name is Greg Ellsworth and on behalf of GME Massage we're here with expertvillage.com talking about seated massage and what you can do to alleviate pains in your friends and spouse. Something that pains a lot of us is sciatica, which is an impinchment of your sciatic nerve and your lower back that causes pain down your leg and into your foot. Where the pain actually is derived from is right here in the lower back and upper gluteal area. Something you can do to alleviate this pain is to work this area. You can use your knee to work the upper gluteal area. When this area is relaxed you can move down to the thigh. Pseudo sciatica is when it is actually impinched with the muscles. Massage can also alleviate a lot of the pain because you're working with the muscles to reduce stress, anxiety, and tension within those muscles that cause the pain. You work down their leg reducing the stress and tension in these muscles of the leg and into their calf."
