"On behalf of Expert Village, I'm Debbie Reeves at John's Design Center. I'm here to tell you about custom picture framing. When I originally framed this it was just a $5 picture and I happened to put this framing ended up costing about $300. You think well why would I want to spend $300 on a $5 picture. But as you can see it turned out to be a beautiful piece of art. You might have brought me this picture it might of cost a $1000 and it would of cost $300 to frame it. So the value of the artwork does not necessarily detach the value of the frame because I can take this $5 picture and make it look like a $1000 picture. Just by picking and choosing a beautiful frame to go with it. So costume framing is something that you are going to be able to hand down to your children and you can enjoy for the rest of your life. Some people might want to buy a $500 chair just to finish off there living room. But then in 5-10 years you have redecorated the house and the chair is gone. But this picture would still be in your family for generations. "
