"Hi! This is Grace Fitzpatrick here on behalf of Expert Village, and I’m going to teach you how to use your sock puppet. You've glued all and sewn all your parts on. You have a mouth, nose, eyes, ears, jewelry, a cape, a tongue, and now the fun begins when you put your hand in the puppet and bring it to life. Basically, how you put it on is you want to slide your hand in. The most important thing is to make sure your thumb is at that base of the mouth so that you can open and close the mouth pretty easily. As we know, this puppet has a bit of floppy nose, but it really gives him character. You can use that while you're doing the puppet. You can make the puppet talk. You can make him happy or sad. You really can do a lot of different things with the puppet depending on how you move your hand and your arm. You also want to remember to be pretty gentle when you're handling your puppet. You've glued and sewed some stuff on, but it's not made of stone. You want to be careful when you're using it. "
