"Welcome to Expert Village. My name is Hugh Murphy with Surf the Sky Paragliding. Now that we've carried our unit out to the beach, we have it safely on a piece of plywood, something to protect it from the sand or any dirt debris, then, we simply drop the harness out. We have it buttoned up to carry, so we simply pull these out and lay our harness down so that we can harness up. I would say one of the best expert tips when you're in this configuration is to keep your throttle handle where it's not laying around and you're accidentally going to step on it. You want to be very, this is a very precision piece of equipment, so you got to want to make sure that your handle is safely back out of the way, but close enough to reach. As we, as we're going to get in the leg straps, we'll just lay them out right in front to make our entrance easy. And then, simply come around and sit in the harness as if you were actually flying. Just take on one shoulder strap at a time like this. And, at this point, simply clip in your chest strap. Bring your leg straps up, one each. You'll notice the quick release that makes this very easy and then you're other quick release. And, you're into your harness ready to go. "

on 12/9/2008 Just a minor comment. It is always better to do up your leg straps first, then your chest strap. If you always do it in that order, then you can never forget to fasten your leg straps (which can have fatel consequenses).
