"Hi, my name's Gail Hoffman. I'm from North Reddington Beach Florida and on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to demonstrate how to open a coconut. Okay its time to pull the flesh away from the hard coconut shell. Get yourself a good knife and get in between the coconut so you can cut a little section of the coconut. And get your knife underneath the flesh, and get it-between the flesh and the hard shell and you can kind of pry it loose. And you'll kind of just pry it out in pieces, like that. Pry out the bigger the better. And uh, you want to put them in a little bit of water and rinse of any of the shell particles that might be on there. And just keep continuing doing this."
