"CHAD BASTIAN: Hi. This is Chad Bastian. Welcome to Expert Village. We're here to talk about the trike buggy and PPG triking with paragliders. Okay. In this clip, we're going to discuss attaching the paraglider to the trike, and I've laid out the paraglider real good. You want to take the lines and the risers from being completely taut against the glider like that, and move them back about two or three feet, lay them on the ground. Then we can bring the trike back, positioning the trike buggy just over the tops of the risers. And now we can bring these risers up, lay the lines through our keepers from the side of the trike and bring them up and attach them to the carabiner at the top of the trike here. I have a unique carabiner attachment here where the carabiner is actually attached to the edge of the trike and I bring it up and attach it to the riser by bringing it through my guide at the top here. This keeps the riser from sliding back and forth. If I attach it just down here, it would swing too much. I need this anchor at the top to connect that. I'm going to repeat that for the other side. Attaching the carabiner. So at this point, you can pull the trike forward until its just tension and it's--you got a straight line right from the trike to the very center of the glider. Now that it's attached, I want to come back to the glider and I like to pull the very center, the trailing edge under. It kinda creates kind of a butterfly effect. This allows this to come up through the prop wash as quickly as possible. We want to encourage that wing to not just inflate but to come up quickly and straight so that it will have a nice, even inflation."
