"CHAD BASTIAN: Hi. This is Chad Bastian. Welcome to Expert Village. We're here to talk about the trike buggy and PPG triking with paragliders. All right. In this segment, we're going to be talking about how to choose a flying site for your PPG trike or your trike buggy. As you can see here, we have a dry lake which is virtually unobstructed for a very large distance, a really ideal place to practice initial flights or initial kiting practice just taxing along with the glider. This is wide open, there's not even mud holes or anything, really, as far as you can go. We do have challenges here. Way over there we have some power lines, but we're going to stay away from those. So, wherever you go, make sure that you have adequate room for inflation, the roll out on the taxi and able to launch, not just launch and clear the fence, but to be able to stay as you're flying within glide of a landable field all the time. Always give yourself room because it's not a matter of if the motor is going to fail, it's a matter of wind."
