on 8/11/2008 Personally I think its easier to just put the plug in the sand blaster. Its quick and does a better job that using a bruch. You can get a spark plug blaster that hooks to your home shop air for about $15.

"Hi! This is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip, we will be gapping and cleaning our spark plug. To clean our spark I am going to be using a thick glove, a wire brush and of course, I need my spark plug. To clean my spark plug I am going to hold it in one hand with my glove. I am going to take my wire brush and clean off as much of those carbon deposits that I possibly can. This is going to help the spark jump between those connection points. To gap our spark plug, we are going to be using this spark plug gapping tool and this can be purchased at an automotive store or small engine store. The way this works is that we have these numbers going around our tool and these numbers stand for different measurements. The measurement for your spark plug would be found in your repair manual and we are going to find the correct one. We are going to slip that into the gap on our spark plug. "
