on 6/3/2009 Why drain it when you can suck it out of the dipstick tube? I use the liquivac (www.liquivac.com) to do this same thing in about 30 seconds.

"Hi! This is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip, I will be showing you another way to drain your oil. Now this next method is a little more challenging but it will get more of that bad oil out of your engine. The first thing we need to do is tip our engine not completely on its side because we don't want the oil to drip out the top but just tip it to a good steep angle. Next we need to look underneath our mower and look for the oil plug. It will have kind of a square head on it and what we are going to do is take a ratchet without any sockets on it and we are going to go ahead and put it in that square head. You are going to want to make sure that you get it good and tight inside of there. Now as you loosen this, you are going to want to be real careful of the blade because you don't want to cut yourself. Go ahead and loosen that until you pull that plug out but make sure you don't lose it. Next we are going to put our oil pan underneath our mower and we are going to tip it down on top of that oil pan. I am just going to let it sit there for a while until all of the oil drains out. Once all of the oil has been drained out, you can tip your mower back up and put that oil plug back in. But make sure you get it good and tight when you do reinstall it. "
