"The next item we're going to be talking about is used for setting nails, setting finished nails. The majority of contractors and home owners are purchasing nail guns. In the old style days they used to take the nails, set them, and then use a finished nail to countersink 'em, or they would use a punch. A punch comes in a variety of different sizes. You have punches from long sections to shorter ones that are typically carried around in the tool pouch. This here comes in three different colors these do. These come in grey, red and yellow. Each standing for different sizes. The tips, some of them have more of a rounded tip, the others have more of a pointier tip. The smaller the nail, the smaller the punch that you want to set the nail with. This is used by holding this below the little box that?s on the punch and applying a hammer to hit it to where you need it for. As far as for setting a nail, or digging a little groove, these two items here are used hand in hand. This is something here that's kept in your tool pouch and will always be used."
