"The next item that we are going to be using to make our straight lines on our 2 x 4's and 2 x 6's and other materials that we use to cut, it would be located as a square. The square is used for many different items, uses. It has your degrees and your measurements on one side. What this is for is to describing the degrees on the roof or into a corner. I use my square for many different uses. When I frame, I like to stick it in a corner and it gives me a true measurement that my wood is straight. It is also measured for doing studding. If you have to put double jack studs, these are the measurements that are inside of here that you use to make out for your jack studs different levels. Square comes with a hook on it. I suggest that you read it on many different areas. If you are looking to do more and to get building items as far as using a square. Like this square comes in many different sizes, usages. You have framing square. This is what is called a speed square to be carried in your pouch and they come in plastic and in metal.
