"In Die, you?re going to come up with reasons. The host is going to manufacture reasons why people get eliminated. Now even though it's a game elimination, the game isn't just about staying in the game, the game is trying to come up with crafty creative improvisation and good story telling. It's a game though, and so the host is going to raise the challenge on the game and create surprises for you and put you under pressure and that's where some of the comedy is going to come in the improv game sense. But it doesn't take away that it's a story and the basic goal is to try and tell a story here. So you're telling that story one word at time. The very first elimination in Die! is usually AND where the host will say you need to avoid using the word AND, and if anyone uses the word AND we'll eliminate them. The host is likely to do it like this, the audience will help, if you hear one of these players say the word AND very quickly, as quickly and firmly as you can, you need to yell Die! and that player will flop down dead right at the feet of the other players and the players will continue to play standing up with dead and expiring players down at their feet. In some improv shows I've seen, there was a death scene for each death. I believe that game used to run about 18 minutes. I don't really recommend a death scene for each death. I've even seen shows where the person who was told to Die! Would take a suggestion from the audience for a creative way to die, and then act out a death scene. I think that game took 36 hours. I really don't recommend you put your audience through that sort of burdensome experience. Let's just get back to the story. If you remember it's a game about telling a story, we're just complicating it to put you under pressure and make some comedy fun out of it."
