"Hi! This is Rich Buccola here in New York City and today on behalf of Expert Village, you better get your fire extinguishers because we're making chili diablo. Our chili has been simmering now. It's been about 2 hours and 20 minutes. It's got another 10-15 to go. It's a good time to make our rice. I'm going to make instant rice. You really can't mess instant rice up. Basically, I'm going to use one cup of rice, one cup of water, and tablespoon of butter. Get that on a flame. Medium to high flame to a boil. You're going to cover it to get it to a boil. Once it boils, you'll take your cover off and let all the water absorb into the rice. You'll see our rice has a nice boil to it. Just give it a stir. You'll see it's boiling. What you want to do is remove the flame, turn the flame complexly off and just cover it. Let all of that water get evaporated by the rice."
