"Ok, so now we're going to make our baste for the tofurky. It's really simple and you can kind of adjust it to your taste as well. Basically what we're going to do, we're going to start with 3 tablespoons of olive oil. Go ahead and measure that out. And if you have a favorite baste that you like, you can use that as well. Really anything. It's really up to you but this is a pretty simple one that's got a pretty basic flavor that's going to go well with the tofurky. We're going to use one tablespoon of soy sauce. Then for the seasonings, I'm just going to kind of eyeball it. You don't have a lot of liquid in there so you don't want to put too much seasoning but this is--just going to put a little bit of parsley; might put a little bit more of that; a little bit of thyme, and a little bit of oregano. Like I said, you can really change this to whatever you like the best. Sage works really well for these flavors as well. And then you're just going to kind of mix it up. Get all the olive oil and soy sauce and seasonings all mixed up together. Once you've got that mixed up pretty well, you're going to have your baste for your tofurky."
