"Hi I'm Jessica and I'm going to be showing you how to make a tofurky today. I have been a vegetarian for 12 years now and holidays are always a difficult time in my family because everybody ate meat and I didn't. I would be stuck with some mash potatoes and corn or something like that. But when I discovered tofurky it really makes a huge difference. It really make the holiday especially thanksgiving seem more like they use to be before I was vegetarian. So this is your tofurky roast. It is a tofu wheat blend and it comes with the stuffing already inside and it is easier then a turkey to make so you don't have to go through the trouble of making the whole turkey. It is actually a lot faster; it takes about a hour and a half total. With prep time maybe 20 minutes half a hour at the most. We are serving it today with a vegetarian mushroom gravy made out of mushroom broth, onions, and a couple of seasonings. So this is hopefully you can do with your family or if you have a vegetarian in the family or if you are a vegetarian and you want to introduce your family members to a meatless holiday dinner this is a great way to start. It is a really good meaty texture. It is not you know crumbly like tofu can be cause you mix this with the wheat. So the flavor is great, the texture is great and it is really a good option for anyone looking for a traditional dinner without the meat."
