"Hi. This is Rich Buccola here in New York City. And today on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you how to make Hearty Beef Stew. Alright. Utensils. First and foremost in the back, big dutch oven of a pot. You need a big one. Holds a lot of stuff, you know. Come back over here. You're just going to use simple utensils that you should have. Definitely going to be chopping stuff up. I got this silicone cutting board which I always recommend because you can pick stuff up and put it right in your bowl. A good cutting knife. I have a little paring knife just in case with my shallots. Sometimes I like to use that. I have a potato peeler. Just a you know, maybe peel the skin of the carrot. Got a simple spatula. Cork screw to open our wine. Measuring cups and measuring spoons. I tend to cook by eye, but for new people you should definitely use them. A big bowl to put all our stuff in before we get it into our dutch oven and that's it. It's real simple. Everything gets cooked there. It's great about beef stew. It cooks itself. You pretty much put it on a low flame after you get everything prepped. And it does its own thing. You come back in a few hours, you got dinner. Alright come back. We're going to start showing you how easy this is. It's Hearty Beef Stew here on Expert Village. And it's my favorite comfort food. Come on back. "
