"Michael Lewis with the Yeshua Ryu's Martial Arts on behalf of Expert Village, where we're talking about speed drills. Now we're going to use sort of a variation of a ChiSao drill which is sticking hands out of wind Chong, but we're changing it up a little bit to help with our speed exercises. And we're only going to focus on one hand, and that's going to be on the inside; you can do it inside or outside. So you take your wrist and match it up with somebody else's wrist. Now one of the main strikes that you're going to use is a straight forward jab but what you've got to do, is, he's going to block it as soon as he senses that I'm going to punch. And I come back. And then we stay still, and when I sense that he's going to jab, I am able to turn and block. And what that's going to do is help your reaction time but also help develop sensitivity to someone's motion, so that when I begin to not only see that he's moving, but also feel that he's moving I can immediately throw the block. So you can do it from the inside. You can also not only throw strikes to the head, just as a straight forward punch, but you can also throw strikes lower, and that way it will help for you not only to be able to block your head, but also get you used to blocking the lower sections of your body, so that way you would increase blocking pretty much an in block motion across the body. And that is just one way you are going to definitely, definitely help your speed in your blocking. "
