"Hi! I'm Kelli on behalf of Expert Village. I am going to show you some tips and techniques that I use when exercising my horse using calisthenics. So now we've bumped around to the left, we are going to take her and go the other way and bump her around to the right. What we are going to do is open up her right rein, use left leg to get her going forward in the right direction and keep steady pressure on our outside rein which is our left rein. Just bump her, keep bumping her with our spur and our rein until she softens and relaxes her head and neck and we get that suppleness that we are looking for. So basically you will know your horse is soft enough if you kind of pitch it away and it keeps its head and neck turned to the right. So that is how you will know, like right there. I'm not really holding her head that way but she is keeping it nice and soft which is what you want. So again, just pull your right rein out, keep kicking with that outside spur, bumping her in there, a little pressure on your left rein and that will supple your horse to the right. "
