"I'm Kelli on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you some tips and techniques that I use to basic horse care. Turning your horse out either in a panic or a enclose area where they are able to run around and have time for their selves is really a great way that your horse could get some exercise on a daily basis. So we are just going to turn her out here in this little enclosed area onto my left. If you have a farm where you have like a big pasture, with a lot of grass in it where your horse could get some grazing time, that is a really beneficial way for your horse to have a little bit of free time on there own. They are able to kind of run too so we just going to walk her in here. We are going to turn her around with his hind end facing you. So I'm going to let her loose and shut her in here and that way she is free to run around, walk around, do what ever she wants and just giving her a hour or so in there by herself just to be able to move around. To get her out of her stall, you can even put some hay in there if you need to. But it just gets them out of their stall so they have a little bit time in the outside world not in such a confined space such as there stall. So the turnout is a really great way to get your horse exercise on a daily basis and also have a little bit of time to clear their heads as well."
