"I'm Kelli on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you some tips and techniques that I use to basic horse care. Another thing you could definitely do with your horse and you could work with your veterinarian on this is to provide your horse with another supplement or vitamin in addition to what you are feeding your horse on a daily bases. Cause sometimes what your horse is eating it not enough to sustain different issues that your horse may be having. There all kinds of different supplements and vitamin out there. This particular one a hoof building supplement. So my horse does not have really strong hooves so she has a problem keeping her shoes on and having her hooves grow. So this helps you provide with the vitamin and nutrients that she needs to sustain healthy hoofs. There is also many different joint supplement out there MMSN and Glucosamine are some really great joint supplements that are out there. There is all kind of different ones for blood building. If you have a horse that is competing really strenuously, you may need something that gives them a little bit more performance enhancement. There is coat enhancement supplement. For really anything that your horse is lacking there is a supplement out there that you could find. So that is definitely something that you would want to work with your veterinarian or your ferrier on and find it what your horse is lacking and supplement it in a adequate way."
