"I'm Kelli on behalf of Expert Village. I am going to show you some tips and techniques that I use on bathing my horse. So after we have curried our horse and loosened up any dirt and sweat that might be crusted deeper down into her coat, I am going to take a stiffer bristle brush and just kind of brush off any excess dirt or sweat that we may have stirred up with our curry comb. So I am just going to take this brush and do a short flicking motion to brush off any dirt or dried up sweat or anything that might be crusted deeper down into her fur. This will get rid of anything that might be laying on the surface. This one we will shampoo her and get her really nice and clean. We will gt rid of any fungal problems that might be underlying and any dirt and oils, bacteria that might lead to a fungus problem later on. So that is how you will want to use a stiff brush after you curry your horse before you bathe. "
