Video Transcript

"Hello my name is Hui, on behalf of Expert Village. I'm going to show several everyday Chinese dishes. To blanch the tofu cubes we would have a pot of water and put it to boil. Then we would put 1 teaspoon of salt into the water, turn off the heat, then we would drop the tofu gently into the water. Let the tofu cubes stay in the hot water for around 5-10 minutes. Then we would drain the tofu in a strainer and the odor of the soy bean would be gone."
