"On behalf of Expert Village my name is Lizbeth Muller and today we are going to make congri. I'll start draining the fluid here (the liquid) the juices for this black beans rice, congri. Cubans call it christanos emorro congri, so here is the two cups I'm going to add now (turn the stove on first) to about a six, I'm going to add some beans in there. Not a lot just a little bit so it can cook up my rice and I'm going to take my sofrito as you see it here and I'm going to add it in here also and I'm going to stir this all together here."

on 8/2/2008 This video is awesome, I loved the fact that it's step by step just what I need. I will be making this recipe for my boyfriends B-Day. All I'm requesting is that the recipe is shown in measurements. As far as how many tsp. of salt or oregano ect......Thanks for the help!!
