"Oh behalf of Expert Village this is Paul Louis and today I am going to give you some basic iClone Machinima Filmmaking Tips and Techniques. You know, one thing you want to do definitely when you create a Machinimas, you want to establish an opening shot, so before we spoke about several things, but this is really important. You want to establish where we are going to be in our scene at the top of the film. So right there I've imported a 3d scene, it's the "Outside of the Doctor's Office". Now we're going to focus in on the door in the center. We're going to go up to tools and then we are going to click on "camera" and we're going to make sure that we select "modify", and "animated camera" and "edit", the "edit" key right here. Then you take your slider and bring it all the way to the end and then with your zoom in tool at the top here, you're just going to zoom in all the way to your focal point that you want to concentrate on, in this case it's the doctor's office door. And then click stop, it'll set it back to the beginning and hit the "play" button, and look what happens. You've created a path, a camera motion path to establish your opening shot. Our opening scene is going to be a wide shot of the hallway and then a slow zoom in on the doctor's office and that's how we establish our opening shot. That's really important, you can do that with anything. It doesn't have to be a doctor's office of course, it can be a house, a building, whatever you want, it's all up to you."
