"Hi my name is Tom, this video is for Expert Village.com we're talking about how easy it is to play the guitar with four chords. We talked about the G the baseline chord, the second chord is C and I'm going to show you an interesting way to do the C chord. This is not the way your guitar teacher would normally show you but we'll get into the differences a little bit later on in the lesson. For the C chord your two fingers are tucked in on these two high strings, the two top strings. Just like the G chord, same fingers, same strings as the G chord. 1 2 3 frets up. Little finger, this finger tucked in beside it. This finger here goes on the second string, the A string. Then your first finger is tucked in on the second fret on the string right behind it. Now if you remember, your G chord was that, these two guys don't move they stay still, you had your third finger on this third fret and then you tuck this finger in there. The C chord you're just lifting two fingers and moving them down one and you should get a ringing sound like that. That is a C chord!"
