"Hi, this is Tom. This is for expertvillage.com. We're talking about short cuts to playing the electric guitar and some tricks for your leads. Bending notes, we've talked about two bends, second bend, and you?re pushing the notes up. This third bend is a variation on that last one where all I'm doing is bending it up and back. So what you can do is practice them in your scale, that pentatonic scale. So when you?re bending the notes, you can go up or down, so I go down a string or I can bend it and I went up a string, or down. So practice the bends going up that pattern and down the pattern, back and forth until everything is smooth and comfortable."
