"My name is Amitavh Bhattacherji. I'm speaking on behalf of Expert Village, and I represent my company, Abstract frames and Supplies, private, limited; Calcutta, India. The basic process of making a frame is we take the mold; It could be wooden or synthetic. Then we cut eight corners, two on each side. The longer side is cut first, then the shorter side is cut. The basic idea is in case there is a mistake in the measurement, you can at least use the longer side to make the shorter side. Once we have the four corners the frame is complete. As you see, this is the picture. We initially measure the picture, and we added a matte, so the picture length was actually measured here, after we have measured the picture and the matte. In case we did not use a matte, this would be the longer side, and this would be the shorter side. Wit the longer side and the shorter side, we have put glue at the forty five degree angle corner. We have got the two edges inside a clamp, and then we have stapled it from below with stapling machines. We have not used nails which is usually used by roadside framers. After we have finished the frame, we cut the glass to the size of the picture. This is the glass; it's been cleaned inside. The glass is actually two to three millimeters inside the frame because the frame has a rebate to hold the glass. The glass size is not exactly as you see it because it has gone into the rebate of the frame. Thank You!"
