Step 1
Curl your locks. You can curl your locks with perm rods or put your hair up in bantu knots.

Remove the curlers or the bantu knots.

Step 3
Sweep hair up into a ponytail. You can use your own hair, a ponytail holder or a scarf to create your ponytail. You can let some of your curls hang, if you wish.

Step 4
Tuck loose ends under. Tuck loose ends under into the wrapped around hair, scarf or ponytail holder as though you were creating a bun.
