"Hello my name is J and I'm talking on behalf of Expert Village and I'm going to show you how to move on with your falafel and I'm going to show you actually the ingredients in falafel and I'm go going to talk about them a little bit. First the garbanzo beans chic peas you can buy these dry if you like and you can soak them in water overnight if you like I prefer the canned type of garbanzo beans cause it is ready to go right out of the can and that is why I prefer this. As far as onion I like to use sweet onion that has lot less of a bitter taste then normal onion and it is just a lot better then all the other onion. You can use shallot if you like and that would be even better then this but you have to chop up a lot of shallot to get the amount of onion that is in this one sweet onion. As far as a lemon goes you can substitute for the lime if you like but I really recommend lemon as far as parsley goes you definitely want to use a flat leaf parsley not the curly type of parsley cause there is a curly there is a regular Italian parsley and there is a flat leaf. This is the flat leaf. As far as bread crumbs go I just like to use bread crumbs if you want to make your own you can. There is a lot of different type of variety there is there is like a Italian style Parmesan, you know there is all sort of bread crumbs just get plain old bread crumbs and you can seasoning it once you put it in there yourself. As far as seasonings goes garlic powder and paprika you know these are basic seasonings. Ground cumin is necessary, turmeric is not necessary I like to use it though it puts a nice yellow color to the falafel and it gives it a nice texture little flavor but it is not necessary though. As far as pepper goes you definitely want to use fresh ground black pepper which is these whole pepper corns you buy a grinder and you grind it up and it gives you a nice flavor as oppose to using ground pepper. As far as salt I like to use kosher salt I don't have any kosher salt today so I'm going to use old regular table salt. As far as olive oil and butter you use what you have on hand and that is what you are going to use I definitely recommend using a mixture of olive oil and butter causes you are going to have your pain on pretty high heat and you don't want it to burn. So if you mix the 2 together the olive oil has that nice scorching on it and it would not burn and that is it on the ingredients and talking about them fro a little bit."
