"Hello! My name is Melissa Schenk and on behalf of Expert Village, today we're going to talk about how to design the home office of your dreams. In this clip, let's talk about technology for a minute. Backing up your files habitually. Very important in this day in age, we do most things electronically. We send invoices through emails now. We are turning into a very much paperless society. Problem with that is computers are not perfect and in the home office of your dreams. While we're on the topic of being organized, very important, develop a system for yourself. Whether you back up your data, your document, on CD or on some sort of disc, you want to do it to your C drive on your computer. It's always a good idea to have an external hard copy as well. Best latest invention are these little flash drives, the little portable drives. Some can hold 4 gigabytes, some 8 gigabytes, and some even more. Any sort of external hard drive is a great, great time saver, life saver in some cases, and they're portable as well. You can see this one I put on a little string so I don't lose it because everything is so small in this day in age that it's very easy to lose things or them fall in the ground and step on them. Again, these are great. They're fairly cheap and cost effective, but you'll have them for a lifetime, and ti could save you in the end as well."
