"In this series, we're talking about moon gardening, all white gardening. And, in this segment, we're going to talk about summer-blooming bulbs for your moon garden. I love the summertime in my garden because it's really the only time I can just sit out on my chair and enjoy the fragrances and enjoy my garden. And I can work in my garden. It's not dark at five at night. I can work until late in the evening. So when I'm selecting bulbs for my summer garden, I get overwhelmed, there are so many choices and that they're just so beautiful. I think the basis of my moon garden bulbs would be lilies, white, large white Casablanca lilies with their incredible fragrance and the big white flowers. Or big white dahlias I've got some - we've got some dinner plate dahlias that are a foot across, so when they're in bloom in my moon garden, it looks just like a - it just reflects off the moon and it's just gorgeous. Words cannot even tell you how pretty they are. I've got short, white calla lilies that bloom in the summertime with speckled leaves, simple little white specks on the leaves make all the difference in my garden. So when I'm selecting my summer-blooming bulbs, I go for foliage too. Foliage makes all the difference because it showcases the flowers. And summertime is really one of the best times in my moon garden. So there's so many summer bulbs to pick from and once I've decided on a few of those, next we'll talk about perennials."
