"Hi this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village in this video clip we will be cutting our top. We want our top and bottom pieces to be cut at the exact same length so that when we assemble our chest of drawers is not crocked. So the first thing I'm going to do is make a cut all the way across the bottom at my length. This is going to ensure that both of those pieces are going to be the same length. I set my table saw to 32 1/2" which is the length of my top and bottom piece. Lastly I set my table saw to 19 1/4 which is the other dimension for my top. I now have all 3 of my tops cut out."
