"Hi, this is Ed Reyes with master builders from Tampa, Florida on behalf of expert village this is how you use and maintain a miter saw. The best part about this saw is that it does have your laser to guide you on your pencil mark so that you're perfectly straight. I want to remind you again about the blade, you wanna use a sixty-four tooth blade or better that's carbide for your fine, fine cuts. If your doing intricate woodwork that's the blade you want to use. It does have a locking system here that automatically locks at twenty-two and a half degrees, or if I want to go thirty degrees then what you do is you loosen it up you go to thirty and this little black handle you just push it down and it locks it for you so now your at thirty degrees. Most of your standard cuts are ninety, twenty-two and a half, forty five those are already notched into this machine and that will automatically lock there when you get there, however there are different cuts that require different angles so if you need a twenty-five and a half degree angle simply set the saw and there's a level here with a little red line and you would set it right at twenty-five and a half degrees and push this black handle down and lock it. Now I am cutting a board at twenty-five and a half degrees. Same applies back here with your compound cuts. You want to make sure that you always have your safety glasses on it's very, very important. I recommend the ones that turn to the side because sometimes wood does fly sideways and you always want to protect your eyes it's about the most important thing I can tell you. Safety, take your time, do not wear gloves when you're cutting with this saw or long sleeves. You want to stay away from long sleeve shirts anything that could get tangled up in this blade could cause you potential damage. Make sure you keep your hands at least to the outside of the saw when you're cutting you never want to bring them in close to the blade, that's not a good thing to do because sometimes the blade will lock up and pull the wood in, if that happens you need enough time to get your hand away. So it's very, a very safe tool to use if you use it properly. And you can create some beautiful, beautiful woodwork out of this machine."
