"Hi, I'm Ed Reyes for Master Builders here in Tampa, Florida. I am here for Expert Village and I am going to show you how to use the proper use for a plunge router. You can take an ordinary piece of stock wood like this one here which has a 90 degree turn on both sides and make it look really fancy. This bit here will make a design on there for me. Once again, always have your safety glasses on before you use this machine and remember the trigger is active which means its not variable, it will speed at a very high rate immediately. So you do not want to have the bit touching the wood or it will kick back on you. So what you do is put your base on and you come and run it across. Now I have a bit of a cut in here. Now if I want to go deeper, I would set my guard up higher and get more of a design and you can alter anyway that you want. If I just wanted a little small rip off the edge, that is where I would set it and now I have a nice routed edge. If I routed another piece, you would have a little indentation turning at a 45 degree. There is just unlimited use you can use with this machine. It just depends on what look you are looking for and what kind of bit you have. "
