"Hi, I'm Ed Reyes from Master Builders here in Tampa, Florida. I am here for Expert Village and I am going to show you how to use the proper use for a plunge router. Now when you are adjusting this, the depth of this plunger for the type of design you want on your wood, one router bit will give you a variable amount of design depending on how deep you set the bit. So if you set the bit right where the turn is, you are going to get a rounded edge. The way to set this is take this handle and release it and it goes down. You get nothing at all. You take, you push up where you want it and lock it. There is a setting here for tension on top that you would release. To set the tension of the springs where you want it. Once you get your settings, you will always notice a ball bearing here on the bottom. That is where you guide off of so you would release this, push up to where you want it and lock it. Always make sure that this is completely locked. Because if it's not, when you are cutting your wood you will get a variation of design because every second that this thing moves, it is going to make a different design unless it is completely locked down. So always make sure that you unplug your machine before you make an adjustment like that. "
