"Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip, I will be talking about electrical safety. You always want to plug the power tool into a outlet that matches the cord. This particular tool comes with a polarized plug which means one of the prongs is a little bit bigger then the other prong. It also means that you can only plug it into a polarized outlet that would except that one prong being a little bit larger. You never want to expose the tool to any rain or wet conditions. This could cause a shock hazard or injure you or someone else. Also, you don't ever want to abuse the cord. You don't' want to carry the tool by the cord. The cord is the lifeline of your tool. So you want to make sure to keep that in as best condition as you possibly can."
