"Hi! I'm Robin with trees-mom.com. We're making a video for Expert Village today. We're crocheting wire bracelet to make a Christmas bracelet. This is what we've gotten so far. We've just finished the button loop here on the end. Now we're going to harden the wire so it'll make it a little more stable and puts all the stitches on the same level so none of them are sticking out. There's a couple of different ways that we do that. We can do it with a mallet or a hammer. Usually put it on a piece of board and hammer it. When I'm on the go, I just take my flat nose pliers and flatten the end, flatten the loop, and just flatten all the way down the bracelet. It's better when you're at home to just hit with the mallet. You can take out all your aggressions and flatten out your wire. This will make it strong and more stable. We're just taking our pliers and just smashing the wire with the pliers. If you see any places that are sticking up, just go over it and smash it again. Then this is what we end up with."
