Summary: Learn how to draw the arms on a snowman for a Christmas drawing in this free holiday video clip.
"Hello, I'm Matt Cail on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you today how to draw a snowman cartoon for this holiday season. This snowman is armless it looks a little bit strange. Let's have him wave so to do that let's add some arms. Traditionally snowman's has branched arms now on this you think your are a drawer and you can't draw a straight line, good. This is going to use those talents and those are talents basically you squiggle out and I mean we are squiggling, I'm not even thinking about what I'm doing right now. So you see we have started out with a couple of branches there then what you can do is thicken out your squiggles just follow the back end of them, kind of parallel a little bit. We can give it a little more balance up here so you kind of have a little of a snowman there waving. We are going to move over to the other side and again we don't want to have two arms lifted. I guess you can have your snowman like he's praying or he might be crying for help. What I would suggest is to have the other arm again this squiggle go crazy just squiggling. Something like a stick figure at first almost arm then we'll go back through and we will straighten things out we'll add some thickness, come back over the top. Very gently go over the outline here so we can remember the basic arm shapes, you can make the branches tan like as you want. I've seen people add some gloves on to there snowman (branch arms) so it's kind of a discretion there. But definitely we have like a snowman he has his arm down and the other arm is waving hello."
