"Hello, I'm Matt Cail on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you today how to draw a snowman cartoon for this holiday season. Before we start drawing our cartoon snowman snow women snow person if you will. We have to get our art supplies all together. So we need several things to do this. First off you need several sheets of good white paper at least 2 that way in case if you have a boo boo or something and you want to start over again, you have that option. Next you are going to have a good pencil preferably a number 2 I usually don't like to much any way of the softer leads and also number 2 erases very well in my experience. Make sure you have a good eraser on the top of your pencil as well. Next we are going to have a series of pens now you can basically get super expensive pens or you can get your basic markers at your big mall shops or other else where this holiday season, it's really up to you. There is a lot of price flexibility a big range of what you spend on pens. The more casual you are the less you have to spend don't worry about it to much but you want to make sure that you have some shades available. Different shades of blue are great also you are going to want to have a good orange, I highly recommend on having a purple although it is not a necessity. Lastly we want to make sure to have black and a couple shades of brown, another option is you can also do some of the coloring with colored pencils. That is fine and actually some cartoons that I do I also favor colored pencils for texture effects. But actually in case of a snowman and some of the other similar drawings like more holiday festive drawings I really prefer more of the pizazz of the pens that will give you."
