Basic Carrier Operations in Battlestations Midway

"DIXON GILLETTE: Welcome back to Expert Village, my name is Dixon Gillette. Let's continue our guide on How to play Battlestations: Midway. Alright, so here we are at carrier operations. When controlling an aircraft carrier, it behaves just like any other type of seagoing vessel. However, an aircraft carrier is lightly armored with only AA guns. Its main source of power is its air wings that it carries. In order to launch or land aircraft from your aircraft carrier, you have to get to your flight deck operation screen. When you have your aircraft carrier selected, press the Shift key to bring you to the flight deck operation screen. This panel shows you the status of all of your carrier squadrons. It includes the amount of planes that you have in the air, how may aircraft are assigned to each squadron, the current status of your squadron whether they're in the air, in the hanger or landing, and it shows you information about the type of aircraft, and how many planes are in reserve. Here, you can also assign different types of armaments to your aircraft for different types of missions."
