Battlestations Midway Targeting & Firing Torpedoes

Torpedoes are found on PT boats, some destroyers, and all submarines. They also carry mini types of aircraft for dive-bombing missions. Now, a torpedo cannot be aimed up or down. Torpedoes float on the water; however, you'll be able to aim them side to side. The most effective method for using a torpedo is to fire a spread of torpedoes. This will ensure that if the craft of the ship is turning, some of those torpedoes will hit the target resulting in a kill for you."
