How to Put Out a hand Rolled Cigar

"Hi, my name is Matthew Driggers and we're here at Cigar Castle in Tampa, Florida and on behalf of Expert Village this is how to hand roll cigars, smoking tips and techniques. The last thing as far as etiquette goes, is putting the cigar out. This goes both ways, not only respecting the smoker, but respecting the cigar. You're going to see a lot of people that will beat the cigar out into the ashtray like its a cigarette or you know twist it out or squish it. That is bad etiquette as well. When you are finished smoking a cigar, no matter what length it's at, take your time, put it down like so in the ashtray and let it die in peace. You respect not only the cigar, but also the smoker because when you smash out a cigar in an ashtray it leaves a horrible odor in the room and nobody wants to smell that. So, when you put a cigar out, respect the cigar and respect the smoker."
