"Hi my name is Matthew Driggers and we're here at Cigar Castle in Tampa, Florida and on behalf of Expert Village this is how to hand roll cigars smoking tips and techniques. The next thing I want to show you, as far as respecting the cigar, and I've already got a cigar here that I can use to demonstrate it. This has kind of got a bigger ash on it, it's how to get rid of the ash. You start to get to a point where the ash has gotten kind of long and you want to get rid of some of it. You see a lot of people that will take their cigar and beat it off like this or shake it off. That's technically bad etiquette, again, you have to respect the cigar, you've got to baby it. Take it and just brush the ash off into the ashtray like so, very easily, very simple and the ash comes off. You don't have to go through, you don't have to beat on the cigar, it should come off very easily. And the reason for that being, again, as I said the tobacco is very sensitive and the rolling, construction is very sensitive. And if you beat on it like that it's going to affect the smoking experience. You'll get an ashy taste in your mouth. So that's how you take the ash off."
