"I'd like to talk about stilt walking. My name is Paul Anderson from the ABC circus and here we are. When you were little you sat in a highchair. Now that you're going to learn how to walk on stilts, you need a highchair again. The reason being you want to start off tall and you want to finish tall. Remember the first rule of stilt walking? Do not fall. I sat in a tall chair, tied my shoes securely, done my wraps and quick ties, and I'm ready to get up. Now, in the beginning, you want to hold on at all times. I'm going to show as if I've never done this before. Grab the wall. I stand here grabbing onto the wall and march, march, march, march, march, march, and I count how many times I march. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. Now, I'm going to try to let go. 1, 2, 3, 4, and I touch again because I thought I was going to fall. Now, I'm going to see how many times I can do without holding on. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and I touch again. Before I let the kids actually walk, I make sure they can march 100 times without touching. 100, I'm ready to move on."
