"Hi my name is Mathew Driggers and we are here in cigar capital in Tampa, Florida. On behalf of Expert Village, this is how to Hand Roll Cigars, Smoking Tips and Techniques. Now we are going to talk about the cigar lighters. This is your standard cigar lighter with a single flame. It has butane fuel in it. Butane fuel is the best fuel because it is tasteless and odorless. I wouldn't recommend using regular lighter fluid or matches because cigars are very absorbent, they tend to absorb everything around it. If you use fuel that has regular lighter fuel that has an odor and a taste, tobacco is going to absorb it. The same with matches, if you use a short match where you have to light the cigar right away, it is going to absorb the sulfur. You see this has the standard single flame on it; this is the best way to light a cigar. Some people use two or three flames, to me this is a bit much. Right now I'm going to show how to also refill this with fluid. This is a standard container of butane fluid. This is pressurized. What you want to do, on the bottom of the lighter, you can see there is a little device here; all you are going to do is first you have to make sure there is no air in it. Then you press this down like this, but I'm not going to do it, because this is full of fluid, because it will spray fluid everywhere. You want to make sure that it is close first and turn this towards the minus sign. Close it and evacuate the air and take this, it has a little nozzle at the end, and push it on there, just hold it down and push it down. This is going to refill the fluid, this won't take very long. This should light up. Also, the last thing, if you must light the cigar with a match, or must light it with wood, I would get a piece of cedar that you could find in most cigar boxes. Take your lighter or your match and light the cedar stick, like this, and you use this to light the cigar. This give it a nice cedar flavor. The flame is not too harsh on the tobacco."
