"On behalf of Expert Village, I'd like to talk about stilt walking. My name is Paul Anderson from the ABC circus and here we are. Where do you get circus stilts? You can really go down to the store and buy them. Although, there are a few places in the world that do sell them. Most people make their own. It's quite simple. You have 2 pieces out of 2x4 that are the size of your foot, 2 slightly shorter pieces that go under that, 4 of these smaller pieces. A 2x4 and a 2x2 in length with an angled cut, but you don't need to do the angle cut. I'm cutting the last 2 right now. There's all the small pieces I need for the circus stilts. Now, I have a 2x4 that I'm going to cut in half like that on a table saw. Then I'm going to make them a little bit shorter because these will be really tall stilts. Let's say I make them at 48 inches. Now, I have all the cut pieces I need and I'm going to glue and screw these onto here, and you can have your very own circus stilts."
