"Hi, this is Doug on behalf of ExpertVillage.com. What we are doing is performing a Pinch Vanish by way of sleight of hand. Well we start off with of course, is what the Pinch Vanish looks like in full speed, is actually pinching the coin, rubbing it together and making it disappear. We went over what your hand must look like, what it's holding. The landing pad where the object is going to be falling. And now of course, the drop. Now ladies and gentlemen, this here is the most important part of the trick. Pay attention very well. What you're going to see here is the coin is in front. Again, you want to practice what we did with the French Drop. It's just releasing the muscles of the hands so that the coin falls right into your hand. Either in the palm, right here in the palm of the fingers or the palm of the hand itself, it doesn't matter. Whatever is most comfortable to you. When you practice more, you'll be more consistent on where that coin will fall. Again you want to practice from the tips of the fingers releasing, and magically disappearing it. Want to try that again? You're going to put the coin here, and gently releasing it into the palm of the hand. And what's then going to happen is it's all going to happen under the cover of the other hand. Going for the pinch, of course the thumb comes in; it's going to drop itself in. You're going to pinch what was the coin in the hand."
