"Hi, this is Doug on behalf of ExpertVillage.com. We're going over different sleight of hands, sleight of hand illusions using different objects, everyday objects around the house. What we've gone over is the French Drop. A variation of the French Drop, which is mainly used with coins or a lot more smaller objects, is just a Pinch Vanish. What you're going to do is you're going to hold the object at the top of your hand. And I'll show you this at full speed first off. Again, you have a coin at the top of your hands. You're going to grab it, and create a vanish. And then make it of course reappear as you will. And again, this trick is going to start off with any kind of object at the tip of your fingers. The very, very tips here. What's important here is to create another landing pad here for the coin or small object to fall into. And the other fingers are going to come across as a pinch as well. This is why it's called a Pinch Vanish, is you're actually going to pinch the object when your hands come together. And that's going to be the motion of the illusion. Again, if you were to actually use this trick and what it would look like if you were to actually perform what you say you're performing, it would look a lot like this. Actually going to pinch the coin, and you'd have it in this hand. As if you were going to pinch any object, and hold on to it. That is the start and the first and most important step of the Pinch Vanish."
