How to Paint Base Boards

"Hi, this is Dan and I'm doing a demonstration for expertvillage.com. Now we are starting to get our base painted. So we are just going to take our brush as you can see I have already masked off the carpet. I'm going to come in and I'm going to paint the base boards. I'm going to make sure that I have enough coverage to cover that entire board. As you can see I'm barely putting some paint on the tape. The least amount of paint on the tape that you can put the better. It gives you less chance for the paint to go underneath your tape. Then once you have some of that started you want to go ahead and feather it. Make sure you have the top of the base, you just kind of want to go over everything and make sure that it is nice and smooth. No brush marks."
