Video Transcript

"On behalf of Expert Village, my name is Paul Anderson from the ABC Circus and we are in Hollywood, Florida, and I'd like to show you some things about unicycles. Unicycles. Bicycles. They all have the same origins. This one is like the old-fashioned wheel of the 1880's, a penny-farthing. A penny is the big one and a farthing is the small one. The French call it a velocipede. This one is velocipede, a modern one. This one also comes from Holland. The unique thing about this bike is a flick of this switch, and the handle bar can turn. You flick the switch back to tighten it. Now you sit right here like that in the middle of the bike, and you can ride this one like a unicycle. Remember where that switch is. You don't want to ride it very long."
